The club needs money to operate. For $30 you receive more than your money's worth. Send Bud Trapp a check made out to the order of WBW. Or bring check or cash to the February meeting. February 29 is the deadline for the $30 dues. After that it will be more.

January Meeting Recap:

 

January 2016 meeting - Mark Knize, creator of unusual shapes

Mark Knize     

It was an interesting program because it focused on unusual items and shapes. He talked about the different shapes, such as the section of log with the center cut out and a floating gold ball to the large round walnut wall hanging. He displayed several of his tools to do specific types of cuts.
He turned the green ball, one half at a time and assembled it after completing both halves. The wall of the ball is approx one inch thick. See other photos here

    

 

The Club needs your Help

 

This club runs and exists through the effort of it's members.
Not all positions have been filled for 2016.
Volunteering is fun and rewarding.
The club needs your help for the following positions:
Librarian: Caretaker of the DVD's. A during the meeting job, for the most part.
Barbeque lead: You can be the big guy during the August BBQ.
Program coordinator: Dave Vannier is acting coordinator but someone needs to step up.
