August Meeting:  BBQ

LonnieThe main agenda item was a discussion on chainsaw safety by Ed Howes son.  It was good to refresh safety concern and pick up a few tips.

The main fun item was another finger licking BBQ, staffed and organized by Larry Maggi and son, with the generous hosting by Jim Laflin.

The raffle of wood and other goodies drew some interest and hopefully made some money for the club.

Barry and Laura Uden organized the raffle and wood supply with help from Curtis and Karl.

The Club OneWay lathe was also auctioned off as well.  It was a busy day in the financial department.

Other Organizational Items:

wood auction

October meeting will be: Photographing your turned art objects( the presenter to be determined), with the Presidents challenge a Bird House Ornament.

CA glue is available from Pat Crowley, and Jim has Anchorseal at $15 a bottle.

The club clothes are now all gone.

Finances look strong.

Remember, the most dangerous item in the shop or behind the chainsaw is you.
