Meeting on Wed, Dec 12th (Not Tues):   At Sunnyvale location

             Christmas Party

 

The challenge for December is a Christmas ornament for raffle and/or participate in the gift exchange.

For January:  it will be “Your Best Fix” – something you were turning that went wrong, and how you fixed it.

November Meeting:

 

Uden

 The main agenda item was the review of the competition results.  

You can see the results and pictures on this demonstration here.

Jim Gott discussed his judging feedback – almost all of the pieces from the competition were brought in, and printouts provided for each piece.

Overall feedback was that the main issues were sanding and finishing problems, and the feedback was more critical this time as the second judge was also a turner rather than a collector, as in previous years.

CA glue is available from Peter Pipe, and Jim has Anchorseal.  The latter has gone up to $15 a bottle.

Plenty of shirts are still available, so let Ross know of your purchase plans so he does not have to carry the stuff to every meeting.  Stuff is on closeout sale, Link to see inventory is here.
