Volunteering at the AAW 2012 San Jose Symposium Saturday June 8th to Sunday June 10th

(Set-up Day Thursday June 7th) AAW’s National Symposium will be held at the San Jose Convention & Cultural Facilities from Friday June 8th thru Sunday June 10th.  Go to the AAW website for more information.

AAW relies on the local chapters and their members to plan, organize and prepare for the symposium, and then relies on volunteers from throughout the US, and the world, to set-up and help run the symposium.

Each Member is highly encouraged to volunteer.

Thursday June 7th is “Set-up” day and many volunteers are needed to get the symposium ready to roll, and volunteering here really doesn’t cut into one’s symposium experience. But, volunteers are also needed during the symposium to make it all happen successfully, but here the opportunities can be very rewarding.

Several of the local committees, as well as AAW committees are looking for volunteers to help on set-up day, Thursday, as well as during the symposium, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The following list of activities below provide sign-up opportunities with a description of these opportunities to help, as well as whom to contact to volunteer.  To know more click on the links at left.   The times are shown.
