Dust Toxicity

 

The lecture by Dr Podlone on dust toxicity as it relates to cancer is at right.  He is a woodturner and a doctor familiar with allergens and carcinogens.  

 

He did not find any instances of known lung cancer caused by wood dust.   However that is not to say that will not be discovered at some point. 

 

However there are instances of dust related cancers of the nasal passage.

 

He recommends good dust collection and breathing protection.
